Administrator and Finance Coordinator
The role holder will co-ordinate and oversee the administrative operation of the Milner Therapeutics Institute, to enable smooth running of collaborative research activities, including the Milner Therapeutics Consortium, global alliance and incubation space in the Milner Research Laboratories. The role will support a dedicated team of scientists and managers working in a new purpose-built therapeutics Institute in the Jeffrey Cheah Biomedical Centre on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. This will include administration, human resources and finances for up to 70 people. The role holder will develop and maintain office processes and manage the financial administrative procedures for the Milner Therapeutics Institute.
Applicants should possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and be confident in dealing with individuals at all levels of seniority. They will have excellent organizational skills, with the ability to be flexible and to effectively manage and prioritize a wide portfolio of tasks. They will be able to work independently and use initiative to ensure timely completion of tasks. Applicants must have experience of working in an administrative role and be experienced in working with standard software packages e.g. Word, Excel, Access.
