This BioWednesday will explore how drugs can be repurposed, with examples from those working in this area. It will also focus on challenges faced with obtaining patents for repurposed drugs and strategies to overcome these hurdles. The aim of this series is to provide a forum for expert reviews and discussion on 'hot topics' and current techniques in Biology. The series is now organised by Postdocs in Biology throughout Cambridge and open to all researchers from the Departments of Biological Sciences. |
