Milner Therapeutics Institute: Driving innovation and therapeutic discoveries across the ecosystem

Since its inception in 2016, the Milner Therapeutics Institute has been a driving force in connecting academia and business in Cambridge and beyond. With a distinctive model that unites therapeutics research, partnerships, and enterprise, the Institute aims to transform pioneering science into life-changing therapies.
At this event, our Executive Director Professor Cathy Tralau-Stewart will reflect on how Professor Sir Tony Kouzarides turned a bold vision into reality – launching a completely new and unique department that bridged the gap between academia and industry. Cathy will explore how this innovative model compares with other translational research institutes around the world, highlighting what makes Milner distinct in its approach and impact. She will also chart the Institute’s journey to date, celebrate key milestones, and share her perspective on how Milner will continue to drive discovery and innovation in the life sciences.
